Aromantic experience is often dismissed in conversations around queer struggle. It's already hard enough to come to terms with your aromanticism-- a future amatonormativity convinces us isn't worth living. It's even harder to go through it alone, confused, and terrified due to widespread erasure of aro voices.

It took me 7 years to reconcile with the fact that I was aro. It shouldn't have. 

It's about time we talk about internalized amatonormativity.
